1 in 100 Adults behind bars
Using Department of Justice statistics, the Pew Center on the States determined that 1 in 100 adults in the United States is in prison. You can view the report "One in 100: Behind the Bars in America 2008" or go to the Bureau of Justice Statistics web site to view the raw data.

Congressional Research Service discoveries
The Congressional Research Service (CRS) is a research agency of Congress and writes reports at Congress's request. These short reports (usually 10-40 pages long) cover recent topics of concern. This week brings us CRS reports on the Poland, genetics, taxes, and much more. While these reports are in the public domain there is no central database available to the public.
