Revolution in Kyrgyzstan

Yesterday, there was a revolution in Kyrgyzstan and the country is still in turmoil. The results of the revolution are still unclear with media reports stating President Kurmanbek Bakiyev refuses to step down, but the opposition has control of the capitol. ("Amid violent protests, Kyrgyz opposition establishes interim government," Washington Post)

This Central Asian country is has "a Coalition Airbase at Manas Airport outside of the capital city of Bishke" (Central Command page on Kyrgyzstan). Manas airbase is a major air base for the NATO operations in Afghanistan, the revolutionary government has issued preliminary statements in support of the base.
