Turkey Day Stats
The Census Bureau has put together a press release with a variety of statistics for Thanksgiving Day. These include the number of turkeys raised in the U.S. in 2005, the states raising the most turkeys, and the number of turkeys imported from Canada. There are also statistics on the U.S. production of cranberries, sweet potatoes and pumpkins. Also included is a list of places with names like Turkey, Cranberry, and Plymouth.
