Although there are no longer any remaining survivors of the Titanic, its history is captured in a number of digitized materials, many of which are found in the Library of Congress' collections:
- American Treasures of the Library of Congress: The Titanic Disaster Features a digitization of the New York Herald's April 15, 1912, front page announcing the sinking of the Titanic steamship.
- Titanic Treasure Trove 1998 article describing items in the LOC collection related to the sinking of RMS Titanic.
- LOC Prints and Photographs Enter "titanic" in the search box to find images from the LOC collections.
- Final Report on the Senate Inquiry into the Titanic Disaster The LOC website links to this Senate report, which is available via the Titanic Inquiry Project.
