Anniversary of the 13th Amendment Abolishing Slavery

On January 31, 1865, the 13th Amendment abolishing slavery was passed by Congress. It was ratified by the states on December 6, 1865. Read the Thirteenth Amendment--Slavery and Involuntary Servitude from The Constitution of the United States of America.
