GAO Launches New Page on U.S. Disaster Relief Efforts
The U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) has just made it easier to find GAO reports that investigate and evaluate U.S. domestic and international disaster relief. The web page is called Haiti Earthquake: GAO Reports on Past Disasters, although so far no listed reports focus exclusively on the recent earthquake in Haiti (perhaps we can expect Haiti-specific reports in the future). The home page does include a photo gallery of disaster areas in Haiti. Reports that discuss GAO's efforts to examine disaster assistance relief are separated into the following categories:
